The Windsor CSC was formed in 1996. The majority of our members were already friends and had watched the games at the Scottish club for many years. However it was thought that with the formation of the NAFCSC, an official supporters club would be a good way to get our bhoys involved. Since the formation of the WCSC and with the NAFCSC publishing our club, we have had a few new members join and have numerous members of the federation stop by when they pass through town.

We currently have about 40 members. The club originated in the Scottish Club and we watched the games there until the 2001/2002 season. With the clubs increasing numbers it was voted that the current system being run by the Satellite Club was no longer conducive to our needs. We are now currently watching the games at The Players Club.

The Players Club is located at, 1530 Langlois Ave., Windsor. Their friendly bar staff with good prices and good people make for good times. Information on all up and coming games can be found by calling the club hotline at (519) 254 8663 and listening to a recorded message.

The games are open to anyone, who wishes to attend. The cost is normally $15 for adults and $10 for Seniors and Students. Annette’s Kitchen is open for breakfast during the morning games and she has the home made, Scottish or Steak pie’s for those late afternoon games. Great for that little tightener on those Euro nights.

Season 2002/2003

This was the Players club when we started watching the games there. The back room or hall was more like a hockey club than a Football club but it was our new home.

Season 2003/2004

We started the season in the Players club and added a few pictures on the walls. But the room still looked more like a hockey hall than a Celtic Club. At the turn of the year the owner of the club mentioned he was thinking of painting the hall. We thought this was our chance to make the hall look more like a Celtic club. We offered to paint it for him if he would allowed us to pick the colours and hang a few pictures. He said sure and he would pay for materials.
Well, he did not know what he was letting himself in for. But was more than impressed with the result.

Summer 2004
Paradise in Windsor

We went to work around February on the hall.  We broke open the piggy bank purchased a few pictures. We also had a great bunch of guy's who stripped the hall bare, cleaned and painted everything that wasn't nail down. Had it all finished for the end of season festivities. A lot of the lads donated some old treasures that had been in boxes on basement walls, behind bars or lost away in the closet. We done ourselves proud the place looks brilliant we have pictures and paintings from the late 50s to the present day and we all feel a bit proud of ourselves for the job we have done. Come and see it some time, its worth the trip alone.
